3 Layers of Data Protection
GDPRchat is built from the ground up to protect your data. Our architecture employs three independent layers of protection, each adding a deeper level of security.
Layer 1: EU Infrastructure
All core services are hosted in the EU. Your AI runs on Mistral (Paris, France), your data is stored at Hetzner (Germany), and images are generated by Black Forest Labs (Germany). No US or Chinese companies have access to your data. No data mining, no profiling, no advertising.
Layer 2: Standard PII Filter
124+ detection patterns run entirely in your web browser, on your own device. Emails, phone numbers, IBANs, national ID numbers, credit cards, and more are caught and blocked before they ever leave your device. Nothing flagged by this filter is sent to any server.
Layer 3: Extended PII Filter
For maximum protection, enable Extended PII Detection. This adds 200+ patterns and a purpose-limited AI pre-scan using Mistral Small (hosted in France). It catches person names, locations, and indirect identifiers. The AI scan is strictly purpose-limited — no data is stored, used for training, or mined.
